Annual Report 2020

Annual Report 2020

Dear All,

We are delighted to be able to share with you the Group’s Annual Review in which you will be able to read all about the fantastic range of activities and events which all of our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers have enjoyed over the past 12 months. Do read through all of it so you can see what has been happening across all of 1st Bramhall during another difficult year. What shines through is the resilience of our wonderful young people and the enduring dedication, creativity, and resourcefulness of our brilliant team of Leaders and other volunteers.

After having to run our AGM last year online, we’re pleased to say that this year it will take place at the Bramley Centre on Wednesday 3 November at 8:00-8:30pm. We hope as many of you as possible will join us to show your support to our Young Leaders, Adult Volunteers, Leaders, and our Trustees who have been keeping Scouting alive at 1st Bramhall through the Pandemic. We will keep the formalities as short as possible so as not to take too much of your evening up – but it would be lovely to see as many parents and carers as possible.

Best wishes.

Andrew Corrie (“Skip”) Group Scout Leader
Richard Buckley (“Rohan”) Group Chair

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
