Moving On

The Scouts will move up to their next section at the beginning of a new term after they are 6, 8, 10½, or 14years old. You will be offered a place in one the next sections towards the end of the preceding term.

There is 6 months flexibility on the age they move up, so the exact time will depend on spaces in the new section and how they are progressing in their current section.

Spaces in the Group are quite tight, so we cannot guarantee a particular evening when moving up. It is also important we keep the balance between the various sections in each age range, not letting one grow bigger or more popular than the other, nor have a section become associated with a particular school or social group. If you have a specific reason for wanting one evening, then please let your current section leader know at least 6 months before they reach the age.

If you have any questions then please email gsl@1stbramhallscouts.org.uk or agsl@1stbramhallscouts.org.uk

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
