1st Bramhall remembers.

In 2020, under renewed lockdown guidelines, 1st Bramhall were keen to remember those who had given their lives in war. Traditionally the 1st Bramhall scout group join in with the annual remembrance parade, culminating in a short service at the cenotaph.

This year, in the lead up to Remembrance Sunday, the sections remembered in various ways. Across the sections there were posters being coloured in, pebbles painted and homemade poppy crafting.

On the Sunday the scouts were encouraged to join in with the national 2 minute silence at 11am, at their home doorsteps in uniform. The cubs had their posters up in their windows, the pebbles had been laid at the cenotaph at different times leading up to Sunday. The planters from HQ had been refreshed and the homemade poppies planted and moved over to the memorial for the week.

As ever a great team effort from all, thank you 1st Bramhall.

Lest we forget.
