Silver Acorn Award

In this year’s St George’s Day Awards Dawn Aitken has been awarded the Silver Acorn by the Chief Scout for “specially distinguished service to Scouting”.

Dawn (Rikki) joined 1^st Bramhall as an Assistant Leader in 1^st Bramhall in 1988.

Andrew Corrie, Group Scout Leader, added “Many congratulations to Dawn on behalf of everyone at 1^st Bramhall.  Dawn is a very dedicated, loyal and effective Leader who is a thoroughly dependable and conscientious stalwart in the Group and countless scores of young people have reason to be grateful to “Rikki” for all that she has done for them.  This award is very well-deserved recognition of her dedication and commitment to Scouting”.
