This Christmas 1st Bramhall Scouts are supporting Age UK’s campaign to end loneliness.
We invited Scouts to put together a Christmas gift box for the elderly. At this time of year and even more so than ever we feel it’s important for us to think about those who are isolated and alone, particularly during these dark winter months.
Due to the pandemic and current restrictions, our elderly are really feeling the effect of being alone. Receiving a Christmas box packed full of goodies can really help to cheer an elderly person up and know that someone is thinking of them this Christmas.
1st Bramhall Scouts made up and donated an incredible 29 boxes for Age UK, for some elderly people this might be the only thing they receive this Christmas.
