Lockdown Mount Everest Challenge

Date: 27th Apr 2020 Author: 1st Bramhall

The lockdown wasn’t enough to dampen the spirits of our intrepid cubs, who challenged themselves to climb the height of Mount Everest over a 48 hour period.

All together they climbed a whopping 8907 metres, which is 59 metres higher than Everest.

They got into the spirit of things by dressing up like mountaineers and they also camped in the garden to replicate base camp – just like mountaineers preparing for their climb.
