DofE Application

Application form here – there are four section you need to complete

Volunteering, Physical, Skills and Expedition

For each section at the start of your program you need to log onto the Edofe site, change your password & enter a plan which the supervisor (Pedal) will then approve, this plan is a simple statement of what you intend to do. Once approved you start to complete the sections.

When you have completed each section you have to add evidence, usually the assessor can log into the normal dofe website and as long as they have your Dofe number which you give them they can quickly upload evidence or type in an assessor report. If they are not confident with the web get them to fill out your book or supply some handwritten evidence, log onto the Edofe site and upload the evidence yourself, it will then be approved.

For the expedition you need to fill out the online form on edofe including information on your aim and the presentation again this is approved by the supervisor.

Here is a Dofe Flowchart which outlines the steps required to complete all the dofe Levels. Print it and use it throughout your adventure.

Remember the emphasis of Dofe is for you to complete it with minimal adult assistance to show you have commitment, self motivation, drive, and the abilty to see something through to the end. Pedal & the leaders will always help but should not be expected to do the work for you.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
